Overall Value:

If you are a user just looking for a regular host, Host Excellence may not be what you are looking for. However, if you are a business or are looking for a company that is highly reliable, the extra cost is worth it. The plans they offer are reasonable for what you get. The plans beyond the Starter plan are not much more expensive than the Starter plan and offer a lot more features such as SQL and multiple domains.

Reliability:

The servers at Host Excellence are extremely reliable. The have setup redundancies not only for their power but also for their Internet uplink. Their servers very rarely ever go do down and if they do, do not worry about extensive downtime as they are back up and running in no time.

Ease of Administration:

Host Excellence utilizes web-based administration software that was designed in house. The software is very well designed and allows uses to do nearly all the same tasks that are commonly done in cPanel or Plesk. Online aid for setting up is available through their knowledgebase.

Known Problems:

Not a problem in as much as a suggestion... better for business user.
